About Us

We are 60 year 1 and 2 children from Halswell School in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Our studio is in the Huritini (Who – rree – tee – knee) Learning Centre.
Huritini is the original name of parts of the Halswell River. It means "many turns".

The Huritini Learning Centre is in two parts -Whio (blue duck) and

Tī  Kōuka (cabbage tree).

We are in the Tī Kōuka studio but sometimes we work in the Whio studio.
The teachers in our Learning Centre are:
Tī Kōuka
T10 Ms Ono and Mrs O'Neill
T14 Mrs O'Callaghan and Mrs O'Neill
T15 Miss Ward and Mrs O'Neill

Whio
T11 Miss Dixon
T12 Mrs Norman
