Whānau groups

On Friday morning the whole school participated in Whānau/House Group activities.  The Ti Kouka kids enjoyed learning from and with their tuakana buddies with some cool activities all about 'Our Place'.

Nico - We played 'Get to the Colours'.  We had to run to the different colours.  We said the colour names in Māori.
Seth/Sophie - We made clay necklaces like greenstone.
Cassiel - We did some paper and leaf rubbings.  And we made book marks with different native birds like kiwi.
Justin - We talked about our families and some of the words were Māori.
Maija - We did leaf rubbings.
Amber - We played with the playdoh and we made different kinds of food.
