Culture Day

We had an incredible morning learning about the different cultures within our studio.

We got to choose which activities we would enjoy.

Some of us even came dressed up in an outfit that was traditional to our country and told the studio why it was special to us.

We carefully used chopstick... this was tricky!!

Sushi (Korea)

We looked at different pictures of clothing and created paper dolls from around the world.

We learned a new word - 'Kawaii' which means 'cute.' (Japan)

We made Himmeli (Finland) and Origami (Japan).

Some of our senior students came and taught us some Whai - string games (New Zealand).

We whipped up a batch of ANZAC biscuits (New Zealand).

Rangoli Patterns (India)

Phoenix shared some delicious lolly cake with everyone. (New Zealand).

Groovy cultural dancing in the blue room!
